On Monday, March 15, Hudson Valley Community College again will team up with Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany and the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York to address food insecurity with a fifth food distribution event on campus.
The food distribution, or “drive-thru pantry,” will be held on campus beginning at 9:30 a.m. The event is open to the public and no preregistration is required. In order to maintain safety and social distancing, there will be two distribution lines: a drive-through line and a walk-in line.
This event is part of Catholic Charities’ mobile outreach initiative, “CC MOVE,” an effort to provide supplemental and emergency food in areas with limited access to services at a time when many are struggling.
