It is with great sadness that I inform the campus community of the recent passing of John Dyson, a retiree and roommate of Tasha Taylor, program assistant in the Learning Centers.
For many years, John was a technical assistant in the Computer Learning Center at Hudson Valley Community College. He was an amazing person and helped countless students, faculty and staff throughout his time here. John was a great friend and colleague to many, and he will be greatly missed.
Services for John Dyson will be held on Monday, Dec. 4 at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, 565 Fourth Ave., Lansingburgh. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 11. Repass to follow interment at Oakwood Cemetery in Troy will be at the American Legion, 93 Oneida St., Cohoes.
