The NY PTK Regional Conference, held virtually March 12 and 13, was an extraordinary event that brought together members and advisors from 58 different chapters throughout the New York state.
During this virtual conference, participants were inspired by the highly motivational keynote speakers, learned about the transfer process by helpful college representatives and were exposed to tremendous networking opportunities. There were fun breakout sessions and photo booths throughout the conference for participants to meet new people and just have a great time — separated, but still together!
The conference was also an opportunity for the various chapters to highlight their achievements over the past year and be recognized for their amazing accomplishments. The presentations of the National and Regional Hallmark Awards were a thrilling experience during the conference. These highly competitive awards were judged on both the national and regional level, with many chapters competing for the coveted prizes.
Hudson Valley Community College’s Alpha Xi Sigma chapter members, officers and advisors were recognized for the incredible work and community projejcdts they undertook in the past year, by receiving the following awards:
