In keeping with Zoom’s software quarterly lifecycle policy, all HVCC Zoom account users will be required to be using at least version 5.16.10 beginning Monday, Dec. 18, 2023.
In most cases, IIT will be able to push this update to HVCC-issued devices without user intervention, but in some cases if you are below the minimum version on the media plugin or the client, you will see a prompt when trying to sign-in to your HVCC Zoom account, indicating the minimum required version needed before you can continue. In these cases, please contact the helpdesk in one of the following ways for assistance:

All HVCC students, faculty and staff should be using their HVCC Zoom accounts and the SSO sign in option with the Zoom Desktop Client (pcs or laptops) or the Zoom Mobile App (mobile devices) not Zoom Web version or personal Zoom accounts.
