I. Viva Flamenco! An Evening with the Artist
Thursday, March 18 — 7 to 8 p.m. (all ages)
Register here for the free, online program.
A Zoom invitation will be sent to registrants.

Zemantauski will present the music and rich history of flamenco and its lively, unconventional cultural heritage. Hear beautiful examples of flamenco guitar music live from Maria and in videos featuring world-renowned virtuosos.

II. Viva Flamenco! La Guitarra Flamenca
Thursday, March 25 — 7 to 8 p.m. (adults & teens)
Register here for the free, online program.
A Zoom invitation will be sent to registrants.

Zemantauski will offer hands-on instruction of flamenco-style guitar and show how it differs from classical-style guitar. This is open to all, whether you play along with your guitar, want to learn more, or just enjoy listening to flamenco.
(Note to guitarists: A nylon string guitar is required for playing flamenco. The guitar can be a classical, flamenco or even a ‘hybrid’ guitar. If you don’t have a nylon string guitar, you can try the techniques, but soon will realize why nylon strings are essential.)

Zemantauski has performed in Spain, Italy and across the continental United States to great acclaim. Her five CD releases, including the self-titled Maria Zemantauski (2018) have received stellar reviews from music critics around the world.
