Students Services staff across campus are coming together to celebrate Louis Coplin and his 37 years of service to the college at this year’s Athletics Community Day on Sunday, Jan. 14 at the McDonough Sports Complex. Both the women’s and men’s basketball teams will take on Tompkins Cortland Community College in games at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively.
As vice president of Student Affairs, Louis has been a huge proponent of the annual Athletics Community Day, so we couldn’t pass up this perfect opportunity to commemorate his retirement. The event will feature free food, caricature artists, indoor games, Victor the Viking, and a half-court shot contest for HVCC Students.
Admission to the game is FREE for those who bring a non-perishable donation for the HVCC Viking Cupboard food pantry.
