Please join your fellow employees on Thursday, Aug. 24 to help plant mums around campus that will make a colorful welcome for students on the first day of classes on Aug. 28. (Help may be needed on Friday, Aug. 25 as well.)
Staff members are encouraged to set aside some time to help plant the mums outside each building on campus. Many hands will make light work, and we’re hoping employees will have fun catching up with coworkers before the fall semester begins.
Grounds workers will deliver the plants to each building, probably by mid morning, and planting will commence immediately upon delivery. Feel free to bring you own gardening gloves and trowel!
