It’s bittersweet for all of us in the Counseling and Wellness Center to say goodbye to Deb Gregory.
After 29 years of service to the college, Deb has decided it is time to move on to the next stage of her life and focus on being there for her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. Deb was always there for all of our events, including our Wellness Fair and our 5K “Race Away [the] Stigma” of mental illness. She brings joy to the office with her stories and cooking. Her baking always brought the office together to have great conversations about our families and students. HVCC students were always greeted with a smile and kind gestures from Deb when they entered the Counseling and Wellness Center. If she could not help a student with an issue, she was fantastic at connecting them with appropriate referrals and resources.
The staff/family in the Counseling and Wellness Center wish her all the best!
Please feel free to join us and Deb to celebrate her wonderful career on Friday, Feb. 23, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Wellness Center, located in suite 260 of the Siek Campus Center.
Much love,
Counseling and Wellness Services Staff
