Commencement is a special time at Hudson Valley Community College. It’s been one crazy year, but it now is time for our graduates to celebrate both an ending and a beginning as they bring to a close their academic program of study and start the next chapter of their lives.
Administrative staff have the opportunity to be part of this momentous occasion and get paid as well. Please consider spending a few hours to share in our graduates’ rite of passage. Commencement workers are needed for a variety of tasks and at various times on Saturday, May 15 when four, separate graduation ceremonies will be held.

Workers will be paid $15/hour. Commencement workers are hired through Manpower, a temporary services agency, not the college. Payment is directly through Manpower. Workers must complete and submit Manpower’s application, including copies of your ID and Social Security card/passport.
