10th Annual Girls in STEM Event is March 23! Registration Now Open!

Hudson Valley is hosting its 10th annual “Girls in STEM” event — FREE and open to girls in grades 4 to 8 — on Saturday, March 23 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Following remarks from guest speaker Dr. Michelle Lewis of the Albany College of Pharmacy, students will attend two one-hour STEM workshops of their choosing that include hands-on activities exploring science, technology, engineering and math!

The event is capped at 200 students on a first-come, first-served basis, and pre-registration is required, so don’t delay. Online registration is now open!

Girls in fourth to eighth grades are invited to the 10th annual Girls in STEM Conference, a free educational event featuring interactive workshops designed to illustrate the fun side of science and technology. Workshop sessions will be provided by STEM professionals and STEM educators. Event runs from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Interactive workshops, fun in-between session activities, followup activities to keep interest in STEM alive, Keynote speaker Dr. Michelle Lewis, executive director of biopharmaceutical education at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
