As we reach the halfway mark in the month of June, the VET-ROC (Veterans Resource and Outreach) office wanted to share some statistics surrounding PTSD especially in the Veteran community. Please see the attached flier for some of the statistics surrounding PTSD.
PTSD Awareness Month: June 2021
One of the purposes of the VET-ROC, as well as the PFC Dwyer Peer Support Program, is to promote the peer-to-peer connection surrounding PTSD, TBI’s and re-integration back into civilian life after military service. As we continue to grow the program, we value spreading knowledge across campus for faculty and staff members to help those Veterans ease the pressure as they continue their higher education goals.
