Hello HVCC community,
This notice is regarding emergency work on one of our ISP (Internet Service Provider) circuits on Saturday, July 10.
Why are you doing this?
We are experiencing issues on the Internet circuit, and Verizon will be testing to identify and remedy the issue.
What will happen on July 10?
Between 5 and 11 a.m., we will be “failing” over to our secondary ISP, causing a brief Internet outage. A second brief outage will occur when we move back to the primary ISP.
How will this affect me?
If you are on campus, this should not be noticeable unless you are surfing the Internet or using external services at the moment of the outage. Banner will not be affected. Off-campus, you may briefly lose connection to Citrix.
