DeAnne Martocci, MS, CPACC, director of Hudson Valley Community College’s Center for Access and Assistive Technology, has been elected president-elect of the New York State Disability Services Council’s Executive Committee, the organization announced this week.
Following service as the NYS Disability Services Council‘s president-elect in 2021-2022, Martocci will serve as president in 2022-2023 and immediate past president in 2023-2024. She will represent all SUNY, CUNY, private and independent college/university disability offices during the three-year commitment.
Martocci recently attained professional certification in Accessibility Core Competencies by the International Association of Accessibility Professionals.
