Join the Pride Alliance student club on Wednesday, April 17 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Capitol for this 2024 New York State LGBTQ+ Advocacy Day. This is your chance to connect with more than 250 LGBTQ+ individuals and allies from around the state to and collectively advocate for policies that will lead to a more equitable state for all LGBTQ+ New Yorkers. This advocacy day, along with its pre-programming, will include panels, workshops, elected official visits, and coalition building. A bus from Hudson Valley’s campus to the Capiol will be provided for all who want to participate. All students attending should contact their professors whose classes they will miss in advance and plan ahead to get work in early and/or schedule a time to go over any missed material.
