On April 5, the Dental Hygiene Department hosted “Salute Veterans and First Responders With a Smile” in the Dr. Robert H.Hill II Dental Hygiene Clinic.
During this event, patients received preventative services, including a comprehensive review of their medical and dental history, blood pressure screening, oral cancer screening, comprehensive series of examinations, radiographs (x-rays) intra-oral digital photographs along with a dental cleaning and fluoride.
All services for the participating veterans and first responders were free of charge and delivered by senior Dental Hygiene students and Dental Hygiene faculty.
