The department of athletics and the Veteran Resource Outreach Center at HVCC are excited to announce our partnership for the 3rd Annual Military Appreciation Day on Saturday, September 11, 2021 during the football home opener against Nassau Community College (Kickoff at 2 p.m.)
Thanks to a special partnership and sponsorship from Dinosaur BBQ, the VET-ROC Office presents a Veteran Appreciation Luncheon from 12:30 – 2 p.m. for all Veterans and their families prior to the start of the football game. The luncheon BBQ will take place under the Joe Bruno Stadium Pavilion, located adjacent to the Outdoor Athletic Complex and the football field.
During halftime, the Athletics Department will honor all Veterans in attendance and present the inaugural Military Appreciation Award.
All Veterans must pre-register using the link below or by calling the VET-ROC office at (518) 629-7529, as well as show documentation that verifies their Veteran/Military status upon arrival at the game.
