Auditions for the play Little Women by Kate Hammil will be held Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 15 and 16, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Maureen Stapleton Theatre, located in the Siek Campus Center. All current HVCC students are very welcome to attend. Those interested in auditioning do not have to prepare anything in advance; scenes from the play will be provided during auditions.
Based on the acclaimed novel by Louisa May Alcott, Little Women depicts the lives of the March sisters, living in Massachusetts during the American Civil War. Each delightful and distinct, the sisters navigate significant challenges and personal growth as their family circle expands and changes.
The production team hopes to hold performances on campus Nov. 18 – 21. If circumstances change and it becomes necessary for the college to shift most classes to remote formats, the show will be rehearsed and performed using Zoom.
