On the second anniversary of the signing of the U.S. CHIPS and Science Act, Bloomberg published a status report on the landmark law that invests nearly $53 billion to boost domestic semiconductor supply chains and revitalize the nation’s semiconductor industry.
With the subhead “The Chips Program Office is tasked with overseeing one of the most ambitious manufacturing comebacks in US history,” the Bloomberg article mentions Hudson Valley Community College’s partnership with RPI and its internship program with GlobalFoundries, one of many college-level training opportunities that will be key to CHIPS success.
