COVID-19 testing process on campus

Testing Location and Hours
Siek Campus Center, First Floor
Monday – Friday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The process for weekly COVID-19 testing:

  • The test is quick and easy — you simply swab the inside of your mouth and provide the saliva sample to be sent to Upstate Medical Center for testing. The process takes less than five minutes.
  • To participate in pooled surveillance testing, simply come to the testing location during the times listed above.
  • Register with Quadrant at https://app.clarifi-covid-19.com/login prior to coming to the testing location, or as soon as you arrive on site.
  • Complete the COVID-19 Health Screening for Students and Employees prior to coming to the testing location, or as soon as you arrive on site.
  • Arrive on site with a mobile device and a college ID.
  • Check in at the desk to have a label printed with your name and DOB.
  • Make sure that the name and DOB on the printed label matches your Quadrant profile. Any discrepancy with cause an exclusion and the specimen won’t be processed.
  • Proceed to register your test with your profile using the bar code scanner.
  • Remember to hit submit to complete the test registration.
  • At a collection  station, self-administer the saliva collection test, swabbing your mouth 10 times from side to side for 10-15 seconds. (The How to Swab video by Quadrant Biosciences Inc. explains the simple saliva test that is used for pooled surveillance testing.)

Students and employees who are not vaccinated, or have a medical or religious vaccination exemption are required to test weekly.
