Self-Assessments Are Coming!
The Middle States Self-Study is well underway thanks to the efforts of over 100 colleagues from across our college community contributing and exploring how Hudson Valley Community College measures up against the seven standards of accreditation. Our individual efforts this year have collectively resulted in a phenomenal beginning. Our working groups continue to pursue the lines of inquiry and gather evidence.
We at HVCC have developed a culture of assessment whereby we measure the efficacy of our programs, the efficiency of our procedures, and the actuality of our achievements. Assessment is the beginning and end of much of what we do here for the students and the community. In that spirit of assessment and self-study, we will be conducting an array of self-assessments over the coming months. Keep a lookout for invitations to join in this collaborative effort of continuous improvement.
