During periods of excessive heat, please keep these safety measures in mind:
Stay Cool, Stay Safe – Limit outdoor activity during peak heat (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.), wear lightweight clothing, and take frequent shade or indoor breaks to avoid heat exhaustion.
Hydrate Often – Drink water regularly throughout the day, even if you’re not thirsty. Dehydration can sneak up on you.
Know the Warning Signs – Watch for symptoms like dizziness, nausea, rapid heartbeat, or confusion. If you or someone else shows signs of heat illness, seek medical help immediately.
