Expanded hours for on-campus COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Wednesday, Nov. 3

 

Hours at the Rensselaer County Health Department’s COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic are changed and expanded to 3 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3 in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center.

The clinic is open to all to dispense booster and first-time doses of all approved vaccinations (Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson). No appointment is required.

Booster eligibility for Pfizer and Moderna, at six months or more after the initial vaccine series:
—  65 years and older
— Age 18+ who live in long-term care settings
— Age 18+ with underlying medical conditions (attestation is needed)
— Age 18+ who work or live in high-risk setting (attestation is needed)

Booster eligibility for Johnson & Johnson:
— Age 18+ and were vaccinated two or more months ago.

It is expected that booster shots will also be available at pharmacies and physician offices.
