Thank you for continuing to support our efforts to keep our college community healthy this fall semester. With the majority of our students, faculty and staff now vaccinated against COVID-19, and as we approach the winter months and spring semester, we have updated our guidance on health screening, testing and vaccination protocols. The updates below are now in effect, and additional details are posted on the COVID-19 Info webpage.
· Daily Health Screening: Online daily health screening is no longer required. However, everyone coming to campus, regardless of vaccination status, should conduct an at-home self-assessment for symptoms of COVID-19.
· Guidance for Symptoms and Exposure: Guidance is now posted for those who may be experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or believe they may have had an exposure. As always, please do not come to campus if you are ill or experiencing symptoms of the virus.
· Pooled Surveillance Testing: Weekly COVID-19 pooled surveillance testing remains required for those coming to campus who are not fully vaccinated, including those with an approved medical or religious exemption. Testing is also encouraged for all students, faculty and staff who are vaccinated.
· Submitting Vaccination Records: Fully vaccinated students and employees should complete the new COVID-19 Documentation Form (if they have not done so already) which now includes the ability to record booster vaccines.
· Mask Usage: Masks remain required for all individuals indoors on campus, and they are recommended to be worn in crowded outdoor areas as well. Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals must wear a mask in both indoor and outdoor settings. Please choose a type and fit of mask that complies with the latest CDC guidelines.
