Do you use Films on Demand in your Brightspace course? EBooks from the library databases? Articles and white papers from the library databases?
As noted in the Chronicle article from the Marvin Library, HVCC has moved to a new proxy server, and your links must be changed to include the new proxy prefix before January 2025. If you do not change the links they will not work for your students from off campus.
You can rebuild your links using the resources provided by the Marvin Library, but you can also quickly repair your links in Brightspace by using some simple editing techniques.
Distance and Online Learning is offering a 45 minute open lab/workshop to demonstrate and help with quick and easy ways to update large numbers of links in your Brightspace courses.
Join us by Zoom or in person and get your links updated now!
