Are you interested in showing your school spirit, supporting HVCC sports teams and various events on campus? Are you interested in making new friends and having fun?
If so, why not join the HVCC Cheerleading and Pep Squad?
What is the Cheerleading and Pep Squad?
The Cheerleading and Pep Squad is a Student Activities club on campus. It is not a part of the Athletics Department. The purpose of the Cheerleading and Pep Squad is to create team and school spirit across the campus and community. We participate in various sporting events and community activities to support HVCC. We plan to support our HVCC football team and basketball team throughout the school year, as well as other HVCC teams the club decides.
Who can join?
As a club on campus, all HVCC students are welcome to join. There aren’t any tryouts, and no one is excluded. All experience levels are welcome (even those who have never done it before). All genders and abilities are welcome. And it doesn’t matter your height. We are beginner friendly; so, if you are new to this, that’s ok. If you are experienced, then that is great as well.
We accept new members each week so don’t feel shy about joining us.
When: Beginning Nov. 14, every Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and every Friday from 2 to 4 p.m.
Where: McDonough Multipurpose Room (MCD 192)
If you are interested in joining us and need more information, please fill out the Student Interest Form or contact Kelly, club advisor, at (518) 629-7307 or k.bunkley@hvcc.edu.
