Dr. Chris McNally Coauthors Textbook

Department Chair of Applied Technologies Dr. Chris McNally coauthored the recently published textbook “Auto Electricity and Electronics,” the eighth edition of the A6 Training Series for ASE Certification.

The 35-chapter textbook teaches the knowledge and skills needed to succeed as an automotive technician and provides the latest information on the operation, service, and repair of various electrical and electronic vehicle systems. The content also ensures alignment with all three levels of the ASE Education Foundation Engine Repair Task List and offers a variety of end-of-chapter questions to engage readers.

James Duffy, a former automotive instructor at Brandon Hill High School in Brandon, Florida and Hillsborough Adult Education Center in Tampa, Florida and current technical editor for Goodheart-Willcox Publisher, coauthored the textbook as well.

Dr. McNally plans to donate the textbook sale proceeds to the funding of the college’s forthcoming Applied Technologies Education Center (ATEC).

Congratulations, Chris!
