Regional Food Bank’s Thanksgiving Food Distribution
This Saturday, 11/23, the Regional Food Bank will be providing this drive-thru style distribution featuring a combination of food boxes and prepared meals until all meals are distributed. HVCC’s Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway
HVCC’s Student Activities Office has purchased 125 Thanksgiving meal kits (including an uncooked turkey and all the fixings), each of which feeds four people, to distribute at no cost to current students in need as we approach the holiday.
Employees are invited to support the Thanksgiving meal distribution in one of two ways:
- Fund a meal by donating $20 to the FSA. Checks can be made out to the Faculty Student Association, FSA. Checks, cash or credit card donations can be processed at FSA or Student Activities.
- Volunteer some time to organize and distribute meals on Nov. 25 and 26. Those interested in signing up to volunteer should contact Student Activities. Visit the Siek Campus Center, Room 210; call (518) 629-7348, or email studentactivities@hvcc.edu.
