Before we head into Thanksgiving break, I want to thank all of you who volunteered, donated and helped with our recent and ongoing Thanksgiving events.
The two Thanksgiving buffets for the campus community were huge successes, as was Saturday’s Regional Food Bank distribution event, where more than 500 families were served a meal kit with a turkey and more than 55 pounds of food. Today, we are distributing 125 meal kits to students, and many volunteered to help organize and hand out these meals.
These efforts wouldn’t be possible without your generosity and support, so thank you. I’m proud and grateful to see in action just how much our campus community cares for others. I hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving break.
