I’ve included the details from my all employee email on Monday, Dec. 2 with some additional details below.
December 1 – December 31 is open enrollment for Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance and the Medical Expense and Dependent Care Reimbursement Plan (Flex 125).
Health Insurance
During the past few months, the Office of Human Resources has conducted a thorough review of the costs and benefits of all major insurance providers, and Highmark Blue Shield was selected as the college’s new partner as of January 1, 2025.
CDPHP, MVP, NYSHIP, Delta Dental and the Davis Vision plan will no longer be offered to employees or retirees of the college as of January 1, 2025.
The college is offering the Highmark 5000 EPO plan as well as a high deductible EPO [HDHP) plan (also with Highmark). Please note that the HDHP plan is not considered Part D creditable coverage.
Rates and plan descriptions are available on the Employees Health Insurance webpage.
