NOMINATION FORM | ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The Hudson Valley Community College Department of Athletics Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for the class of 2022, which will be the seventh class enshrined. The induction ceremony will take place in Fall 2022 in conjunction with Homecoming; a date is not yet confirmed.
The Hall of Fame Committee will accept nominations through Feb. 28, 2022.
Members of the campus community are invited to submit nominations for former athletes, coaches, teams or an associate member, administrator or contributor who have made extraordinary contributions to Hudson Valley Community College through intercollegiate athletics.
Persons wishing to nominate someone must complete the online form and include a list of athletics and academic achievements supporting the nomination. The first six Hall of Fame classes honor a total of 66 outstanding teams and individuals.
To be eligible for consideration, the nominee must have been disassociated with the college by virtue of graduation or transfer to another institution of higher education for at least (5) years or have been disassociated with his/her coaching or administration responsibilities for a period of five (5) years. This term of disassociation is waived for candidates over the age of 62.
Additional Criteria
As an athlete: Have successfully completed one full season in a given sport at Hudson Valley Community College.
As a team: Compiled a significant record or accomplishment.
As a coach: Compiled a significant winning record while supporting the educational programs of the college and contributing to the future success, either in college or employment, of the athletes who compete under his/her leadership.
As an associate member, administrator or contributor: Must have made special contributions to the support, growth, popularity and/or community acceptance of the intercollegiate athletic program.
