The SUNY System is providing funding for students interested in lifeguard training during the upcoming semester break. Available spots to participate are limited, but if there is strong interest from HVCC students, it is possible another training session could be added.
Students can register for the classes at either Troy YMCA or East Greenbush YMCA. You will need to provide a copy of you campus ID. The YMCA will invoice SUNY for the $350 to $450 cost.
