TROY, N.Y. — For a team that was at its best when it came together as one, going their separate ways into the offseason has been a bit of a stark contrast.
Their demeanor towards each other in August carried a sort of quiet politeness. That quickly turned into bubbly bus rides and overnight trips, as well as a team TikTok account where they showed off everything from their interviewing skills to gameday fits.
The Hudson Valley Community College Women’s Volleyball team grew close this past, 2024 fall season, and was rewarded with a second straight trip to the NJCAA Region 3 postseason tournament. At 15-8, overall, it was also the program’s second consecutive winning season – the first time that had happened in 25 years.
