Friday Flex For Your Mental Health

Exercise not only improves your physical health, but it can have amazing benefits for our mental health. According to HelpGuide.org, exercise can assist us in managing our depression, anxiety, stress, ADHD, PTSD and trauma, more effectively, in many different ways. It can even improve our resiliency, result in better sleep, foster a higher sense of self-esteem, lead to feeling more energized, and increase our focus and memory. For the full article click here.

Resources and videos are from various YouTube exercise channels and the John W. Brick Mental Health Foundation, whose purpose is to “Integrate salutogenic approaches, such as exercise, nutrition and mind-body practices, into treating mental illness and promoting mental wellness.”
