Consider the field of environmental education. The teaching field is expected to expand by almost 20 percent in coming years, according to the Daily Green Web site, and science teachers will be the most in demand.
Students can get a good start with basic education and green technology courses at the community college level and then transfer for a bachelor’s and master’s.
