Dashira Cortes, assistant director of Student Life, devotes much of her free time to musical theater and currently appears in the Playhouse Stage Company’s production of “Bright Star” running through Feb. 13 at the Cohoes Music hall. “Bright Star,” written and composed by Steven Martin and Edie Brickell, is described as a “bluegrass musical.”
