A working-class, African-American father tries to raise his family in the 1950s, while coming to terms with the events of his life.
Thursday, Feb. 20 — The Help
An aspiring author during the civil rights movement of the 1960s decides to write a book detailing the African American maids’ points of view on the white families that employ them, and depicting the hardships the maids endure on a daily basis.
Thursday, Feb. 27 — Black Panther
T’Challa, heir to the hidden but advanced kingdom of Wakanda, must step forward to lead his people into a new future and confront a challenger from his country’s past.
