This Week in Athletics
Men’s Basketball: The men’s basketball team finished the week with a 2-0 record with wins over Fulton-Montgomery (111-98) and Mohawk Valley (85-75), and improved to 14-6 on the season with two games remaining in the regular season.
Women’s Basketball: The women’s basketball team finished the week with a 2-1 record with wins over UConn-Avery Point (92-77) and Mohawk Valley (87-61), and improved to 11-8 on the year with two games remaining in the regular season.
Men’s and Women’s Bowling: Willis Bickford, known as the team’s bionic arm, cleaned house on Sunday as he placed first with high singles (613), doubles (611) and the all-event (1224) champion. Parker Brown helped Bickford claim the doubles title as they partnered their way to an 1,184 score. Brown also placed sixth overall in the all-events standings, averaging 181.33 for six games.
