Spring 2022 and Summer 2022 Degree/Certificate Application Deadlines
Important Note: A student planning to complete program requirements in Spring or Summer 2022 must submit a completed degree/certificate application to the Registrar’s Office no later than the close of business on Monday, April 4, 2022 in order to be included in May 2022 Commencement-related publications.
This is a reminder that the degree/certificate application deadlines for Spring 2022 and Summer 2022 graduation are as follows:
Spring 2022 — Mon., May 2, 2022
**Summer 2022 — Mon., Aug. 1, 2022
- If a student plans on graduating either in May or August, a completed degree/certificate application must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office by the appropriate deadline as noted above.
- In order to complete the application process, a student must obtain approval from his or her advisor or department chairperson on the application. After downloading and completing the application, the student should send it to his or her academic advisor or department chairperson as an attachment to a message from the student’s Hudson Valley email account. After review and approval, the completed application must be forwarded to the Registrar’s Office (registrar@hvcc.edu) no later than the close of business by the deadlines indicated above.
- Applications received after the noted date will be considered for graduation for the following semester (i.e., a spring application received on May 3 will be considered a Summer 2022 application and a summer application received on August 2 will be considered a Fall 2022 application).
- **Important Note: Summer 2022 graduates are invited to the May Commencement ceremony. This will be the only commencement ceremony that you can attend. If you wish to participate and have your name appear in the Commencement program, you must have a completed degree/certificate application submitted by the April 4 deadline.
