The Office of Workforce Development and Community Education is pleased to offer a Basic Rider Course License Waiver class for those interested in learning to ride a motorcycle.
The Basic RiderCourse provides classroom and actual motorcycle/scooter operator training in a controlled, off-street environment. No experience is necessary, however, you must be able to ride a bicycle. A STRONG sense of balance is required! Student must possess a valid NYS driver’s license. Upon successful completion of the Basic RiderCourse, a NYSMSP road test waiver card will be issued.
