On Wednesday, Feb. 26 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Hudson Valley Community College’s Department of Public Safety responded to a physical altercation between two males in the Marvin Library. Officers immediately responded, and upon intervention, one of the males fled the scene. This is an isolated event, and there is no immediate threat to the college community. Anyone with information or video of the incident is asked to contact HVCC Public Safety at (518) 629-7210 or by email at publicsafety@hvcc.edu. There is an ongoing investigation, and the college’s student judicial process is being activated.
