The college’s 71st annual Commencement ceremonies will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Fall 2024, Spring and Summer 2025 graduates.
Three in-person ceremonies will be held in the McDonough Sports Complex. Ceremonies group graduates according to academic school. Each ceremony will be approximately one hour and 15 minutes. Graduates receive individual recognition at their ceremony and six guest tickets. All events will be livestreamed from the college website.

11:30 a.m. – School of Health Sciences
2 p.m. – School of Business and Liberal Arts
KEY DATES!
- Sunday, March 30 — Graduates must order their cap and gown (regalia) at www.buildagrad.com/hvcc by 11:59 p.m. on March 30.
- Monday, April 7 — Graduate degree/certificate applications must be completed by April 7 to be listed in the Commencement program book.
- Wednesday, May 7 through Friday, May 9 — Cap and gown/ticket pickup will be held in the Siek Campus Center.
