Members of the Alpha Xi Sigma Chapter of PTK attended the NY Regional Conference at The Desmond Hotel in Albany held March 10-13.
Chapters from all across New York State were represented, with chapter advisors, officers and members coming together to celebrate all that is Phi Theta Kappa. They enjoyed presentations from keynote speakers, networking opportunities, fellowship activities and so much more! One of the highlights of the conference was the informational presentation each chapter gave showcasing the work they did the past year.
The HVCC chapter’s achievements were recognized and celebrated at the conference, as recipients of the following amazing awards:

- Excellence in Digital Media
- Chapter Progress Award
- Excellence in Fellowship
- New York’s Edgiest Chapter
- Most Distinguished Chapter Officer: 1st Place – Sophia Lenigk
- Most Distinguished Chapter Member: 1st Place – Dara Blanchette
- Paragon Advisor Award: Runner-Up – Renay Williams
- Distinguished Chapter Officer: 3rd Runner-Up – Jasmine Adams
It was an honor representing HVCC at the conference and showcasing what the chapter achieved from a year of incredible hard work! Alpha Xi Sigma strives to accomplish even more great things, guided by the four PTK Hallmarks: leadership, service, fellowship and scholarship.
