Leadership Workshop on Monday, Mar. 21: Cultivating Your Identity

Leadership Workshop: Cultivating your Identity

Monday, March 21
2 to 3 p.m. on Zoom

Social identity theory places high importance on group identification. However, the creation of your professional identity involves much more than that. We will look at ways to cultivate and understand the personal resources you bring to the table. To “know thyself” is not just for personal growth, we’ll be exploring situations where personal talent, experience, and interests can lead to success in leadership.

Using sources from a wide spectrum of philosophers, personality psychologists, and social scientists, this session invites students to reconsider the relationships they have with themselves. Exploring issues of identity within the context of professional standards will hopefully result in some interesting insights on what it actually means to be an “individual.”

Students who register and attend this leadership workshop will get a $10 e-gift card.

Register here to attend this workshop. Once you register, you will be sent the information to join the workshop.
