Opening reception is Thursday, April 24 for “Pulse 10,” the Year-end Digital Media Student Exhibition

Work by students enrolled in the college’s Digital Media Program will be showcased in “Pulse 10” on view April 24 – May 3 in the Teaching Gallery, located on the ground floor of the Administration Building.

An opening reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 24. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Both the reception and gallery hours are open free to the public.

“Pulse 10” features selected work by Digital Media majors from the Spring 2024, Summer 2024, Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters in Two-dimensional Design, Drawing, Digital Imaging, Photography, Animation, Interactive Art, Web Art and Graphic Design, and is the third of three, year-end student exhibits.

“Temporary Solutions,” the 2025 Advanced Study in Drawing and Painting Thesis Exhibition, and the 2025 Juried Fine Arts Student Exhibit were on view in the Teaching Gallery from March 27 –  April 5.

The year-end exhibits are planned and installed by students enrolled in Gallery Management courses. Full-time Fine Arts and Digital Media faculty members are Justin Baker, Tara Fracalossi, also Teaching Gallery director, Kyra Garrigue, Thomas Lail, Jean O’Malley and Jason Van Staveren. Scott Hathaway chairs the Fine Arts, Theatre Arts and Digital Media Department.
