On January 12, 2010, Haiti was hit by a 7.0 earthquake, killing 300,000 people, leaving 1.5 million homeless, without shelter, food, adequate sanitation, electricity, medicines and water. Haiti is a land of mud, rats and disease. Many of the children there are without parents.
Please consider contributing to ‘Operation Shoebox’ for the starving children in Haiti by filling a shoebox with food or supplies that will be shipped to the Croatian Relief Service in Haiti.

Your shoebox should be wrapped in Christmas paper with a post-it note attached that lists the contents. The shoebox maybe filled with any of the following:
– 2-3 lbs. of simple, cheap rice
– 2-3 lbs. of beans (no instant)
– non-perishable foods
– school supplies
– hard candies
No toys made in China, no soaps, no used items or clothes
If you would like to donate $2 – $3 for shipping costs, place the money in a sealed envelope marked ‘shipping’
