Commencement workers are needed for a variety of tasks and at various times on Saturday, May 14 when four, separate graduation ceremonies will be held.
Commencement is a special time at Hudson Valley Community College. It’s been one crazy year, getting back into the swing of things, but it now is time for our graduates to celebrate both an ending and a beginning as they bring to a close their academic program of study and start the next chapter of their lives.
Administrative staff have the opportunity to be part of this momentous occasion and get paid as well. Please consider spending a few hours to share in our graduates’ rite of passage.
Please note: Commencement workers are hired through Manpower, a temporary services agency; not the college. Payment is directly through Manpower and all workers must complete and submit Manpower’s application, including copies of your ID and Social Security card/passport. Employees who worked at Commencement in 2021 should not need to redo the paperwork required by Manpower.
