Groundbreaking ceremony at STEM Education Center (updated)

 

Federal, state and local elected officials, leaders in business and education, and news media representatives joined President Roger Ramsammy, members of the Hudson Valley Community College Board of Trustees and Foundation Board of Directors, as well as administrators and staff, on June 29 for a groundbreaking ceremony at “HVCC North.”

To be known as the STEM Education Center, the brand new, 14,500-square-foot facility will feature state-of-the-art labs for microbiology, anatomy and physiology, chemistry and biology, as well as new classrooms, student support spaces and offices. It will be adjacent to the college’s TEC-SMART facility at 345 Hermes Road in Malta.
