The self-study uses the seven standards set by MSCHE (The Middle States Commission on Higher Education) to focus on how well we measure up to our mission, values and goals as an institution. The self-study is a transparent and inclusive evaluation of ourselves at Hudson Valley Community College. Although each standard addresses a different facet of our college, within every standard we evaluate how well we are aligned to our mission, every standard asks us about our periodic assessments, and every standard asks how we use these assessments to allocate resources.
