Upon the conclusion of a national search, Hudson Valley Community College Director of Athletics Kristan M. Pelletier announces the appointment of Justin Hoyt as Assistant Director of Athletics and Sports Information Director.
Pelletier states that “Justin brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise that will allow him to be successful here at Hudson Valley Community College,” said Pelletier.
Prior to joining Hudson Valley Community College, Hoyt worked for three years at D’Youville College, where he was responsible for sports information duties and supervision of athletic events. He also brings two years of experience working in game management, and marketing and promotional campaigns within the athletic department at Clemson University.
Hoyt attended Clemson University where, while working in the athletic department, he received his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management with a minor in Business. He earned a master’s degree in Sport Administration from Canisius College.
Hoyt’s tenure at the college will begin on Jan. 10.
“I would like to thank Ms. Pelletier and Hudson Valley Community College for giving me this opportunity. I am very excited to work with the student-athletes, coaches and staff to continue the success of our programs and enhance the sports information department,” Hoyt said.
