Welcome to the spring semester!
As you are working on class preparation, please remember that we have mentors scheduled each week in the Faculty Resource Room and one mentor who is available by appointment to work with you elsewhere on campus.
If you have a quick question about technology, classroom management, pedagogy or if you want to learn to use a software program, e-mail mentors@hvcc.edu or stop by the Faculty Resource Room during one of the mentors’ hours for a visit. All mentor questions and visits are confidential.
The Faculty Resource Room is a shared workspace for faculty with some great “tech toys,” including PCs, a copier, a printer, a Smart Board, a Crestron touch panel, a beautiful Mac, and so on. Any time you would like to visit to work or to try out some of the classroom technology, you are welcome to visit the Faculty Resource Room.
If you have a key to the computer classrooms, that key will open the FRR door. Otherwise, pop down the hall to BTC 1042 to borrow a key. On weekends or evenings, Public Safety will be able to open the door for you.

Wednesday from noon-1 p.m.: Milt Connors
Thursday from 9-10 a.m.: Marianne Belles
